VidLoad is a browser extension that detects and downloads videos from webpages you visit. This document describes exactly what data the extension handles and what it does not.

- VidLoad does not send your renamed labels, dismissed items, or settings to any server.
- VidLoad does not use analytics, telemetry, or third-party tracking SDKs.
- VidLoad does not sell, share, or transfer user data.

| Renamed labels and dismissed items | Remember popup preferences. | chrome.storage.local, until uninstall or manual clearing. |

Network requests VidLoad makes
- Downloading the video you asked for. For HLS or DASH streams, this includes fetching the stream segments.
- Reading manifest files for metadata such as duration and available quality options.
- Verifying payment status if monetization is active and you choose to upgrade.
VidLoad does not operate a backend and does not send browsing or download activity to a VidLoad server.
Third-party services
If monetization is active, VidLoad uses ExtensionPay and Stripe for payment processing. ExtensionPay and Stripe do not receive information about which videos you download or which sites you visit.
